Because of this issue, the proper design of a socket is very important. In order to design a socket properly, quality of its interface with stump and the mode of load transfer between the socket and stump is very critical and because of this, the presence of a material or device in the interface in order to enhance comfort is necessary. The liners or soft sockets are primarily designed to fulfill this reason. The aim of this research is evaluation of different types of the soft sockets as a part of the prosthetic socket. In current research, It was tried to evaluate different types of soft sockets from the view of the materials used in manufacture of such devices.
